Borders auction house, Brown & Turner is set to run a Christmas Jewellery Auction live online on 12 December alongside an Antiques and Collectables Auction on the same day.

Coronavirus restrictions have meant people have had fewer opportunities to browse in shops on the run up to Christmas and it is hoped this auction of jewels will offer a fantastic selection of gems to make the perfect Christmas gift or treat.

Sixty pieces of jewellery will be auctioned, with watches featuring strongly including a Rolex Art Deco 9ct White Gold and Diamond Ladies Cocktail Wristwatch and a 18ct Gold Full Hunter Pocket Watch.  Vintage watches with a reputable name are eagerly been bought back by watch buyers and the style and quality of Art Deco pieces are proving popular with the modern-day buyer.  Other notable pieces include a stunning Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Ladies Ring and an elegant Diamond Tennis Bracelet in Art Deco style.
