Two vintage car models

Brown and Turner’s next auction commences on Saturday 19th September at 10am with a limited number of attendees in the room. The auction boasts a large selection of furniture, toy cars and memorabilia as well as art, collectables and jewellery.

Some of the notable furniture lots include Lot 293, a Regency Mahogany and Brass Bound Wine Cooler, estimated at £300 – £400 and Lot 276, a Gillows Style Victorian Mahogany Chiffonier with an estimate of £100 – £150. Lot 311, a Burmese Carved Hall Chair would be a feature piece in any hallway with its beautiful carvings down the back and legs. The estimate is £150 – £200.

Lot 70, a Chinese Cast Bronze Incense Burner from the Qing Dynasty is a popular piece, with an estimate of £200 – £300. While lots 89 – 102 provide a lovely selection of vases; including Lot 89 a Carlton Ware Art Deco “New Chinese Bird and Cloud” Lustre Vase.


The selection of car toys includes classics such as Lot 48, a Franklin Mint Precision Model of a 1961 Green Jaguar E Type; Lot 44, Two Danbury Mint Model Classic Cars comprising of a 1957 Chevrolet Blue Bel Air Convertible and Lot 39, a large collection of Model Die Cast Vehicles, estimated at £150 – £200. In addition, lots 30 – 38 offer a nostalgic selection of helmets and caps from WWII, the police force and the British National Fire Service Home Guard with estimates starting from £30 – £150.
